Christiana Faith Serenity Suite

We want to celebrate the sanctity and value of all life and remove the stigma associated with fetal and infant loss. Practically, our goal is to create a soothing, hospitable, and beautiful space where families can make a lifetime of memories together before saying goodbye to their precious babies. We want families to feel seen, recognized, and deeply loved. Spiritually, we want to bring healing and hope to grieving families who are experiencing a life-changing loss. That hope can only be found in the gospel of Jesus Christ, made possible by His atoning sacrifice on our behalf.

It is our goal to raise $340,000 to retrofit existing space at a local faith-based hospital into to a labor, delivery, and postpartum bereavement family suite, with a queen-sized bed and comfortable home-like furnishings, facilitating sweet memories during or shortly after baby’s passing.

Existing Space

The Christiana Faith Serenity Suite will be used for the mother’s entire inpatient stay, so we included design features such as a microwave and mini fridge, an additional sleeper sofa, a workspace and chair, and comfortable dining space.

Existing Space

With the addition of a custom-designed storage module, medical equipment can be easily stowed after delivery, converting the space into a hospitality suite with ample space for family members and visitors.

Existing Space

The current need is approximately three to four families each month, so we anticipate serving between 50 and 55 families annually through this ministry.
